This is a 100% pure, chemically-free orchard grass hay. It is quite aromatic, and extraordinarily green. This orchard grass hay is extra-early cut, and contains  virtually no seed heads.  This particular batch has tiny amounts of clover. It is the softest hay of all Crazy Tasty Hay® varieties. Although it is a beautiful hay for us humans to look at, for Bingaling Bunnybox, the deciding factor is always the taste, as determined by the bunnies. The buns have spoken and have overwhemingly awarded this hay 4 paws up! 

Many of the orchard grass hays from our bunny hay farmers is a sweet variety. This is very different. Upon opening the bag, the aroma of a fresh field of green grass emerges. It does not take bunny long to notice the scent and come for a nibble. This hay is partucularly low dust due to the seed variety and the early cutting of it. For those sensitive to hay dust, this is a very clean hay. Please see the images to see what particles you can expect if you choose this hay.

This size is ideal for those with larger warrens and with the capacity to store this enormous amount of hay.  Our bales measure (LxWxH) 36"x18"x18" and weigh just more than 40 pounds.

Please note: If you have been feeding your bunnies generic, store-bought hay, be careful when setting this hay down until they are accustomed to it. We are receiving reports of bunnies lunging at the hay thinking it is a treat due to the aroma. This is why it's named "Crazy Tasty". Our hay is NOT sweetened by anything other than Mother Nature.
